Ordered takeout tonight and realized that my sushi has brown, rotten, avocado. I understand avocados are not cheap and their perfect time of use is limited, but when you're serving food, if you have to throw out rotten avocado, you throw it out. You don't serve it to a customer inside the sushi roll hoping they won't see this. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I have gogo sushi. Serving rotten avocado is not acceptable. The saying goes, if you wouldn't eat, don't serve it. Really unfortunate. Here is to hoping I don't get too sick from this.
This place has the most welcoming and lively atmosphere. You can tell that all staff have genuine care for their customers too. I love to support this family owned local business as they have a huge menu with great prices! Hands down best sushi in the Okanagan. They also have tons of accommodations for vegetarian and vegan customers.
10/10 recommend, so delicious never gets old, favourite restaurant in town by far!

My recent visit to Turtle Bay GoGo Sushi was an absolute delight, a five-star experience from start to finish! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
If I could give Turtle Bay GoGo Sushi more than five stars, I would do so without hesitation. This hidden gem in the heart of the city has become my go-to destination for an unparalleled sushi experience!!
Ive been 2x. Atmosphere is quiet and feels a bit cold. Service was good for takeout but felt rushed for sit in dinner. Teriyaki beef is excellent and a great portion, however all the sushi rolls I’ve ordered have unfortunately been terrible. I’m not sure if it’s an end of the day thing but all the rice on the outside of the sushi (both times) has been mushy. Likely won’t be back.
Probably some of the best beef teriyaki I’ve ever had. Staff made it feel like I was a guest in their home, the food was amazing, simply put.
